🎭 ABOUT THE WINTER INTENSIVE

This two-day educational intensive is designed for performers ages 8–18 who are passionate about musical theatre and want to experience the rehearsal and performance process alongside Broadway professionals.

Students will spend two days learning, rehearsing, collaborating, receiving coaching, and preparing for a fully staged musical theatre performance for family and friends at Chelsea Table & Stage in NYC.

We have intentionally adjusted this year's Winter Intensive schedule to accommodate Valentine's Day and Super Bowl Sunday.

The revised schedule allows families flexibility around the holiday weekend while still giving students two substantial days of professional musical theatre training and performance experience in NYC.

Sunday Schedule: 10:00 AM–5:30 PM

Students will be assigned to schedules based on the 1:00 PM Performance Group or the 7:00 PM Performance Group for the following day's performance schedule.

Sunday is our primary training and rehearsal day. Students will participate in dance, vocal music, acting, staging, coaching, and group rehearsal.

PERFORMANCE DAY

Monday is the culmination of the intensive, with students moving from rehearsal and technical preparation to their LIVE performance at Chelsea Table & Stage.

From their first rehearsal at Pearl Studios to technical rehearsal and their final performance at Chelsea Table & Stage, students will experience what it is like to prepare for a live musical theatre performance in NYC.

🎭 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Ages: 8–18

• No audition is required.

• This is a professionally driven intensive and is more demanding than a traditional recreational acting or theatre camp. Families should consider whether their performer is ready for a fast-paced environment that requires focus, preparation, collaboration, and taking direction.

• Students may be assigned songs or musical theatre material they are not already familiar with. Students should be comfortable learning new material and working outside their existing repertoire.

• Students must arrive having fully memorized all assigned music and material.

• Students should be prepared to participate fully in singing, acting, dance, staging, and rehearsal activities.

• This intensive is for educational purposes only and is not an audition.
