🌟 ABOUT THE SHOWCASE

🎤 Perform two pieces—songs, monologues, or a combination—up to 3.5 minutes total

📋 Receive written feedback from approximately 10–12 top agents & managers AND 8–10 casting directors

⏱️ Each performer receives an individual five-minute time slot, so there is no need to remain on Zoom for the entire showcase

💻 Everything happens virtually, allowing young performers from across the country and beyond to connect with the NYC industry.

The offices listed above regularly participate in BKA showcases; however, every showcase is unique, and we cannot guarantee the attendance of any particular professional or office.

🎭 Showcase Only: $345

🎭 Showcase + Preparation Workshop: $395

For only $50 more, the preparation package includes a 90-minute small-group coaching session with a BKA coach before the showcase.

Prep Workshop Includes:

• Maximum 6 performers per class

• Approximately 12–14 minutes of individualized coaching per student

• Material and cut review

• Acting and performance coaching

• Audition presentation

• Personalized feedback

• Strategies for making the strongest possible impression in your showcase

🎭 WHAT TO PREPARE

For Theatrical/Legit Representation

TV • Film • Theatre • Musical Theatre

Choose one of the following:

• One 32-bar audition song (up to 90 seconds) AND a one-minute monologue

• Two short 32-bar cuts of musical theatre songs

• Two contrasting monologues from published plays

For Commercial/Voiceover Representation

Consider including a short comedic monologue as one of your pieces to showcase personality and versatility.

⏱️ Your complete presentation must be 3–3.5 minutes or less.

🎟️ HOW TO REGISTER

1️⃣ Register before the showcase fills!
Participation is limited to 25 performers.

2️⃣ Submit your current headshot and résumé at least five days before the showcase.

3️⃣ If singing, prepare your accompaniment track.

Custom tracks are available upon request and must be requested at least 72 hours before the event.

Is My Child Ready?

While all levels are welcome, please consider whether your child is ready to receive supportive yet direct and constructive feedback from working industry professionals before enrolling.

Recording

BKA cannot provide individual videos of showcase performances. If you would like a recording, we recommend that a parent or guardian record the performance using a separate device.

Industry Attendance

The agencies, management companies, and casting offices listed above are organizations that regularly attend BKA showcases. However, every showcase is unique, and BKA cannot guarantee the attendance of any particular office or industry professional.

Showcase Purpose

The goal of the preparation classes and showcase is to provide students with an opportunity to perform for and receive audition feedback from top industry professionals.

Previous BKA participants have received meetings, representation, callbacks, and other professional opportunities following our showcases; however, BKA cannot and does not guarantee representation, casting, callbacks, or employment of any kind.
