My name is
Roma Day
Roma Day has been singing nonstop since the day she could talk. From an early age, she began singing bluegrass music alongside her dad, a banjo player, which sparked her love for music.
She has since studied violin and fiddle, cheer, and musical theatre at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, as well as Greek and Eastern European folk dance and music.
Roma loves the entire process of performing — from meeting and rehearsing with new people to the moment when everyone comes together to bring joy to audiences from the stage.
She has performed at numerous bluegrass festivals with kids’ academies and has been selected twice to perform at IBMA’s World of Bluegrass – Kids on Bluegrass event, where she performed and jammed alongside Grammy Award–winning bluegrass artists. Most recently, Roma had the opportunity to perform in Pittsburgh CLO’s Shirley Jones: A Gala Celebration of Her Life, Career, and Legacy, sharing the stage with Adam Pascal, Kelli O’Hara, members of the Cassidy family, and more.
Roma loved every moment of the experience, which has only fueled her desire for more professional theatre opportunities.
