WHY I COACH – In a world of social media and influencers, there’s never been a more important time for art. Helping mentor, coach, teach and encourage the next generation of artists is beyond a passion of mine but feels to be my civic duty. Growing up as a child actor myself, I want to help you book your next job to give you the experiences that changed my life and shaped who I am, while also strengthening your love for your artistry. Acting is a lifelong pursuit and being able to be a part of your foundational training is something I view as a sacred honor and privilege. 

Josh Sussman(he/him) –Josh is a NYC based actor, writer and audition coach. A recent graduate of NYU with fifteen years of professional acting experience (yes I was once a child actor too). Josh has worked on national tours, Off-broadway, regional theater, film and voice over.  Growing up in the theater and on set has given a unique perspective into not only what it takes to be an actor but how to work in a professional environment at the ripe age of eight. When it came time for college, the only logical choice was a degree in……. Screenwriting. With an acting background and a focus in writing character driven pieces, scene analysis is Josh’s bread and butter. When you fully understand how, what and why a scene is on the page, you’re totally free to play with it on the stage. Beyond excited to be a part of the BKA family and to get to work with you all!
