JUNE 12, 2024: Virtual BKA Agent, Manager and Casting Director Showcase!

PERFORM YOUR AUDITION MATERIAL FOR TOP NEW YORK CITY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND RECEIVE PERSONALIZED WRITTEN FEEDBACK FROM EACH OF THEM AFTER THE SHOWCASE!
Each artist will present two pieces (song and / or monologue or combination of these), not exceed three minutes total, for a panel of industry professionals with written feedback. Students will only need to show up for our warm up at 6:30pm EST and perform within a five minute time slot within the two hour showcase. Artists do not need to stay and watch the other artists perform.
This showcase will be entirely virtual via Zoom.us. Please note that times are Eastern Time Zone!
This showcase will sell out and is limited to 25 participants, so don’t hesitate to register for this excellent opportunity!
A number of artists have been called in and signed by representatives from our past showcases! This is an incredible opportunity to be seen and heard by some of New York’s most prominent industry professionals and is not to be missed!
$325 to participate in the showcase only. $60 additional song and/or monologue workshop (for a total of $385) with BKA staff the week before. Each student will work for 13-15 minutes with one of BKA’s expert coaches in a 90 minute workshop to prepare them for the showcase.

BKA is thrilled to host an in demand agent and casting director showcase night, online via Zoom! There will be 10-12 talent agents / managers AND 8-10 casting directors from New York’s most prominent offices such as CESD, Stewart Talent, Take 3 Talent, Zuri Agency, DDO Kids, Rebel Talent Management, Avalon Artists Group, Carson-Kolker, Ivy Artists Management, Carnahan Casting, Wojick Casting Team, Michael Cassara, Calli Company, Tara Rubin Casting and more. A final list of attendees will be sent two days before the showcase. We will be bringing in different and recurring industry guests with each showcase!
THE GOAL OF THIS EVENT IS FOR STUDENTS TO GET FEEDBACK FROM A WIDE RANGE OF TOP NEW YORK CITY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS. Each student will receive a feedback form with notes from each agent and casting director within seven days after the showcase. These notes are for the purpose of better improving their personal work as actors in auditions.
Ages 7 through 18 allowed. No audition is necessary but we recommend you discern whether or not your child is ready for professional feedback before signing up. A maximum of 25 participants are allowed in this showcase.
The cost of the online showcase is $325.00: Each student will perform up to 3 minutes of material live for the virtual panel to receive feedback.
ADDED OPTION FOR $60 ($385 total): Additional option of adding a performance workshop with BKA Staff (maximum of 6 students per 90 minute workshop. Each student will work for 12-14 minutes per workshop to prepare their materials).

-Sunday June 2 from 5-6:30pm EST
-Wednesday June 5 from 7-8:30pm EST
-Sunday June 9 from 5-6:30pm EST
If you cannot make these times, it’s okay! We will be able to schedule and adjust times based on students availability. We will send you information in your confirmation email about scheduling the group workshop.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
If you are interested in Theatrical / Legit Representation (Television, Film, Theatre): Prepare a 16 bar song and a one-minute monologue from a published play OR two short 16 bar cuts of two musical theatre songs OR two monologues. All materials combined should be no longer than 3 minutes in length.
If you are interested in Commercial / Voice-Over Representation: We will send you a commercial or voiceover copy that is no longer than three minutes in length. Please let us know five days ahead of time so we can send you sides.
If you are already represented, you can list yourself as represented for exposure and industry feedback as well.
Once registered, you will be sent a form asking you about materials, representation sought and previous experience. You will need to email BKA a headshot and resume at least 5 days before the showcase.
Students will need an accompaniment track recording of their audition cut for this workshop. Your track must be cut appropriately or cued to the correct time. If you need an accompaniment track of your song, please purchase a custom made track here and we will make one. All track requests must be made 72 hours prior to the showcase.

BKA cannot provide videos of your showcase. We suggest parents and students take video on a separate device on their end should you want a video of the performance.
The list of industry professionals above are offices that regularly attend our showcases. However, each showcase is unique and we cannot guarantee the presence of any one office at this showcase.
The goal of these classes and showcase is to provide an opportunity for students to get audition feedback from top industry professionals. BKA can not and will not guarantee signings, castings or callbacks of any kind.
