BKA is excited to come to Little Rock, AR for an amazing audition techniques workshop! This weekend workshop is open to a large group of students (max 80) who will be broken down into small groups (15-20 students), based on age and ability. Students will be coached one-on-one within a group format on audition techniques for Broadway musicals, plays and on-camera commercial work. The weekend will include dance classes, scene study, and of course, our world class individual audition song coaching. This workshop will be led by BKA coaches, all Broadway actors and directors with years of performing, audition, and “behind the scenes” experience under their belts, PLUS a Top New York based Casting Director!

Kids ages 8-18 of all skill levels welcome.

Limited to 80 students. Students will be broken down into groups of 15-20 for song and scene workshops.

Weekend will include:

-Focused workshops in dance technique, song interpretation, audition sides and on-camera workshops.

-Be seen and heard by a Top NYC Casting Director who will give one on one feedback in a group setting on song and scene work.

-'Parent Hour': an overview for parents and students on practical steps to take if your child wants to audition professionally as well as insight into college and university program auditions.

Preparation: Students should bring two, 16-32 bar cuts of an audition song. Sheet music should be in the correct key and placed in a hard cover binder. Students should also bring comfortable clothes to move in, jazz shoes or sneakers.

Pizza will be provided for lunch both days but students should bring snacks and water.

This is an invaluable weekend of training and information for any young performer. We can't wait!
